SIA Door Supervision SCQF Level 6
It is essential that all individuals working in the private security industry undergo a structured training programme that results in a recognised qualification. This SIA training is for those wishing to begin work as a Door Supervisor. On successful completion of the course, and passing the required examinations, delegates will be able to apply for the Door Supervisor’s license which will allow the individual to operate as a qualified Door Supervisor.
This qualification is based on the SIA specification for core competency training for Door Supervisors which covers the knowledge and understanding that all candidates must prove in order to be issued with their license to practice. To gain your SIA Door Supervisor License, you will need to attend and take four training modules and pass three exams. The course is delivered over 38 guided learning hours, 30 hours of which are contact hours.

Awareness of terrorist threats and
Escorting and disengagement skills
